American English with a French Canadian flair—Josee Clift is not your everyday voiceover actor. Growing up in Canada, Josee only spoke French at home and learned English starting in grade one at an English only school; her bilingualism charmingly presents itself in her reads regardless of language. 

However, Josee’s remarkability doesn’t end at her internationally transcendent voice. She’s got a witty, conversational, youthful sound, one that stands out from the rest. As a professional, Josee is organized, creative and consistent with a direct approach that creates the best results for her clients. 

WIth over 10 years of VO experience, Josee has worked for clients such as Target (French Canada), Aussie hair products, Annie’s organic mac n’ cheese, Rosetta Stone, Polaris and more. Genre wise, she gravitates toward corporate and museum narration, explainer, e-learning and documentary. 

Josee lives in Chanhassen, Minnesota and works from her professional grade home studio equipped with a Shure SM7B microphone, DBX 286s mic preamp, Focusrite Scarlett  2i2 interface and Reaper as her DAW. Outside of the booth, Josee is drawn to all things nature, from ecology to sustainability and everything in between (without being too much of a tree hugger).
